Greetings Knitters, Crocheters and Fiber Enthusiasts,
For once, we are going to ask you to set down those needles, hooks & spindles...
and please, GO VOTE!
As knitters we all know how a single stitch might not seem so important, but when put together with thousands of others, it makes an impact, and if a single stitch drops, things can come undone... SO, PLEASE, put down the needles and go make your "stitch". Call friends and family and encourage them to do the same. Our stitch pattern will say something like.... BARACK OBAMA!!! .... No on 8!.... No on 4!.... Sophie Hahn! But every stitch counts. Make yours.
umm.... ok... there is a reason we sell yarn instead of writing speeches. If the above didn't inspire you, show us your "i voted" sticker on election day, and receive 10% off any purchases on election day. ( and if you voted absentee, that counts too... just tell us, & get a discount.) Come sit and knit and obsess on the outcome in a fiber friendly environment.....
Winter Hours
We are happy for the rain but not the dark, Boo! With the time change comes a time change Since it seems that most of you like to be home before dark, (and so do we) we will return to our old closing time of 6pm .
What's on our needles?
We are so grateful to all of you who come in and show us what you are working on that we thought maybe you would like to hear what we are up to.

Knit Night
Come join us for a respite from the over-planned, over-scheduled lives everyone seems to be living these days. Every Wednesday night we get together to socialize, knit, chat, show off our yarny triumphs, get sympathy for our yarny disasters, and basically just hang out. So please join us on Wednesdays @ 6:30pm- 9pm -- and bring your knitting! As always, Knit Nights are free!
